Ansel, Pinot Noir Willamette 2017

$40

Oregon Pinot Noir has become a strong brand in the US. Pinot to Oregon is like Cabernet to California. Just like Cab, there are some great versions and a lot of ones that aren’t worth your energy. In this case, it really comes down to producers. The main area for Pinot is called the Willamette Valley. The Willamette is a large area with mostly Pinot Noir and a small number of white grapes like Chardonnay planted there too.

Oregon Pinot should always be: a bit darker in flavor, earthy, and from Willamette Valley.
