Domaine Chapel, Juliénas 2018
Beaujolais is a region in France where the grape used is called Gamay. Gamay makes light-bodied, fruity, and always refreshing. This producer makes wines that are floral, fresh, and not too funky. Sometimes, Beaujolais can be super funky depending on the producer. There’s a lot of natural wine producers there who are experimenting and some of those wines can taste like socks and look like rosé. Like almost any emerging region, knowing the right producer is crucial. The Chapel's are one of the greats.
