Domaine du Pélican, 'Cuvée Trois Cépages' Arbois 2016
This is one of those wines made by a famous producer in a top region who decided to branch out into lesser-known parts of the wine world. Domaine D’Angerville is one of Burgundy’s historic producers and the second generation winemaker Guillaume decided to start a project in another region of France called the Jura. The Jura has its own grapes as well as Pinot Noir which is the grape of Burgundy. In this wine “A blend of 3”, the grapes are Trousseau, Poulsard, and Pinot Noir. Like Burgundy, it is meant to be light and refreshing. Drink it with a chill.
