Massican, Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016
Sauvignon Blanc is the most commonly planted grape in the world. That means, it grows in Mexico, China, and almost every state in the US. The reason for this is that it’s an easy grape to grow and it’s familiar to the widest audience. California and New Zealand are two areas where you see it most outside of France. In California, it is sometimes aged in oak barrels which gives it a richer, nuttier flavor.
Sauvignon Blanc should always be: served very cold, taste like herbs and grapefruit, never taken too seriously.
