Parcelle Wine Bar: 135 Division Street, NYC | Click here to make a reservation
This medium-bodied red wine is a blend of grenache, syrah, and carignan– grapes that famously form the wines of the Southern Rhône and Languedoc-Roussillon. But instead of southern France, this wine is from southern California. In the Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara, it’s made by Kita, the first Native American-owned winery in the US. Expect plenty of red fruit and savory flavors in this full-bodied red.
Tastes like: Raspberry, rosemary, vanilla, and cinnamon.
How to drink: Decant it for 30 minutes, and drink it with ribs, chicken, mushrooms, sausage, or anything else coming off the grill.
