Pierre Moncuit, 'Cuvée Nicole' Blanc de Blancs 2005

Le Mesnil is home to arguably the greatest vineyards in Champagne. Pierre Moncuit is a Grower Producer. Unlike most Champagnes, which are made with a blend of wines from different years, this is from one vintage. 2005 is regarded as a great vintage for Champagne. As it ages the citrusy and fruity flavors evolve more into brown butter and roasted apples. This is a Champagne that proves this region is the greatest sparkling wine region in the world.

Tastes like: Lemon, apricot, and fresh-baked biscuits.

How to drink: Serve in normal wine glasses to get all the aromas. Enjoy it with lobster, caviar, or just some fried chicken.

*Opening old wine can be tricky. Many corks are fragile, and if you’re not careful, can break. Just because a cork crumbles doesn't mean the wine’s off. If you're new to buying old wine or curious about the condition, just reach out.

Please note: we aren’t able to take returns of any corked or damaged bottles.
