The Colla family has been making wine in Piedmont for more than three centuries, but the Colla name rose to global fame with Beppe Colla, who owned Prunotto starting in the mid ‘50s. Now, the family’s wines are some of the region’s best. Fresh, juicy, and a bit spicy, this dolcetto is an opportunity to get to know the style of one of Barolo’s greatest producers.
Tastes like: Plum, thyme, black pepper.
How to drink: Lightly chilled with eggplant parm or grilled pork chops.
