Dom Pérignon

Dom Pérignon, 2008

$340

For nearly a century now, Dom Perignon has been the reference point in Champagne. But over the last couple decades, the wines have reached a new level. Dramatically improved farming and winemaking have caused the quality at Dom to rise and rise some more. We have a batch of the 2008, a near-perfect Champagne vintage and an all-time great for Dom Pérignon.

Here's what you should know about it:
  • Dom Pérignon is only produced as a vintage Champagne. And those vintages only come about when conditions are ideal, meaning Dom doesn’t release a wine about four times per decade.
  • Dom tastes smoky, chiseled, and vibrant when young. Over time, the flavors become more savory and the texture becomes softer and more luxurious.
  • The 2008 is one of the greatest-ever vintages of Dom Pérignon.
As sommeliers, we often get asked, “What’s the best wine on the list?”
Rarely would we ever tell the truth. We wanted to hoard them for ourselves, or stash them away to drink with our sommelier friends in-the-know. Well, Parcelle Picks is our big reveal. This is our selection of the hard-to-find, ready-to-drink, sometimes well known, maybe obscure, and always limited wines we love most.

Call it a hit list, a daily deal, or whatever you like. It’s the best stuff we have right now—and at the best prices.
