Olivier Jullien isn’t in a blue-chip region - the Languedoc produces more bad wine than good - and his wines are complex, often requiring a fair amount of patience to fully enjoy. Perhaps that helps explain why Mas Jullien is under the radar, despite being a go-to of sommeliers and insiders on both sides of the Atlantic. But if you’re not familiar, just know that their wines are special, and they remain genuinely undervalued considering the quality.
