Nervi-Conterno, Rosato 2025 3-pack
$95
Roberto Conterno makes the most sought-after wines in Barolo, if not all of Italy. For the last decade or so, he has also been making nebbiolo a couple hours to the north of Barolo at Nervi-Conterno. His wines from this cooler area of Piedmont are lighter and fresher. That goes for the reds, and especially for this rosé. Light, herbal, and super crisp, it’s a wine you’ll want to have on-hand all summer long.
Here's what you should know about it:
- Nervi is the oldest winery in Gattinara, an area a couple hours north of Barolo in Piedmont. Conterno bought Nervi in 2018.
- Like his old-school Barolo at Giacomo Conterno, Roberto makes this light, bright rosé from nebbiolo.
- Conterno's most famous wine is a Barolo called Monfortino. A bottle of that will run you the same as a few cases of this.

As sommeliers, we often get asked, “What’s the best wine on the list?”
