Serafino Rivella, Barbaresco 'Montestefano' 2022

Teobaldo Rivella and his wife, Maria, make just one nebbiolo. It’s a small-production red wine - only 750 cases are produced annually - from one of the best vineyards in Barbaresco. That site, Montestefano, yields a powerfully structured style of Barbaresco. Rivella's version balances Montestefano's intensity with floral aromatics and freshness. It’s an earthy, savory Barbaresco that’s soft and bright enough to enjoy right away.

- Serafino Rivella is a ‘cult’ producer in Barbaresco, making nebbiolo from a single plot of old vines planted by Teobaldo’s father in 1963.
