California Cabernet
Cabernet sauvignon is the most planted wine grape on the planet.
It’s so popular that it’s pulled a Gronk and is known simply as “cab.” It’s synonymous with both Bordeaux and Napa, and in a 1976 competition between French and Californian wines, a Napa cab took the top spot, officially seating America at the big kids’ table of international wine. California Cabernet as we know it is a full bodied, rich, and spicy wine.
