About the Wines:

Mayacamas, 'Mt. Veeder' Chardonnay 2017
Mayacamas is one of America’s oldest wineries. It’s one of the wineries that put Napa Valley on the map as a great wine region. The weather is getting really hot in Napa Valley so producers are planting grapes higher in the hills, this one is really high so it still maintains lighter and ‘French’ chardonnay like flavors.

Domaine Faury, Saint-Joseph Rouge 2019
Domaine Faury is one of the Northern Rhône’s most artisanal producers. They use traditional winemaking methods to make classic Saint-Joseph syrah that’s always powerful, and offers a liveliness and freshness not often found in the region.
Tastes like: Blackberry, smoke, black pepper, and bacon.
How to drink: Decant it for an hour. Drink with any braised meat or Peking duck.
