Bérêche, 'Ay' Extra Brut Grand Cru 2017

Few producers illustrate Champagne’s trend towards immaculate farming and site-specific winemaking like Bérêche. Brothers Vincent and Raphaël Bérêche are super thoughtful, talented winemakers at the top of their game. Based in the village of Ludes in the Montagne de Reims, they farm equal amounts of the region’s three key grape varieties: chardonnay, pinot noir, and meunier. They’re at the forefront of the rapidly growing ‘Parcellaire’ movement, with all of their wines showcasing individual villages or vineyards.
