Far from his homebase in Tuscany, where his family produces Sassicaia, Piero Incisa della Rocchetta launched Chacra in the arid flatlands of northern Patagonia in Argentina. In 2017, Jean-Marc Roulot joined the project to spearhead white wine production. Perhaps unsurprisingly, their focused, salty, concentrated wines bring to mind serious White Burgundy.
