Domaine Joseph Roty, 'Charmes-Chambertin' Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru 1999

$850
Joseph Roty has one of the largest cult followings of any small grower in Burgundy. The family has been making wine since the days of Louis XIV, and has amassed an enviable selection of old vines in the many years since. The domaine is most closely associated with the grand cru Charmes-Chambertin, known for its deep, exuberant reds. Roty's wines are full and intense, as well as richly perfumed.
