Marie Courtin, 'Efflorescence' Extra Brut 2018

This is the flagship Champagne from Marie Courtin, and even still, only a few hundred cases are produced annually. It comes from the southerly region of the Aube, where Dominique Moreau biodynamically farms pinot noir to make elegant, ultra-expressive Champagnes. Like all of her wines, Efflorescence is crafted from a single vineyard, single vintage, and single grape variety with no dosage or makeup. It's the most powerful, deep, age-worthy bottling in the lineup.
