Raveneau, 'Blanchot' Grand Cru Chablis 2011

Along with Dauvissat, Raveneau is, without question, the greatest producer of Chablis. Harvesting late, keeping yields low, aging extensively in old barrels - the style has inspired a whole new wave in Chablis. And yet, Raveneau remains singular. Compared to Valmur and Clos, Blanchot is more floral and delicate, but sacrifices nothing in the way of length or detail.
