Suenen, 'La Cocluette' Oiry Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2017

Aurelien Suenen, a former semi-pro basketball player, returned to run his family’s winery in Champagne in 2009. Since then, he has become one of the region’s brightest stars. Aurelien farms organically, and makes small quantities of crisp, focused, site-specific Champagnes in the Côte des Blancs. Cocluette is a single-parcel release made from 100 year-old vines. It's a very small-production Champagne that's concentrated and laser-focused.
