Thierry Allemand, Cornas 'Reynard' 2021

Over the past 30 years, no producer has ascended the ranks of Rhone greats like Thierry Allemand. Credited with turning the tide for Cornas, and influencing a whole new generation to pursue a lighter, more elegant style of syrah, Allemand is now as collectible as legends like Chave, Jamet, or his mentor, Noël Verset.

Reynard is crafted from the domaine’s oldest vines, which Thierry acquired directly from Noël Verset. The wine has a bright, floral streak layered over classic smoky, savoriness and brambly fruit notes. It’s among the most collectible wines being made in the Rhone today.
