Aurélien Chatagnier, Syrah 'Le Crêt Louison' 2021

Aurélien Chatagnier is part of a new generation of Northern Rhône producers making fresh, transparent, immediately approachable red wines. Aurélien, who previously worked at Domaine Jamet in Côte-Rôtie, set up shop near Saint-Joseph in 2002. ‘Le Crêt Louison’ is a single-vineyard, 100% syrah that showcases his vibrant, peppery style.

Tastes like: Plum, violets, olive tapenade, cracked pepper.
How to drink: Lightly chilled with lamb chops, duck, or winter stews.
