Château Le Puy, VdF Rouge 'Emilien' 2022

Now run by the 14th generation of the Amoreau family, Le Puy is a historic estate on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Just east of Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, Le Puy produces reds that are fresher and more elegant than the vast majority of their neighbors. Made primarily from merlot, ‘Emilien’ is Le Puy’s flagship wine. It’s earthy and plush, an immediately delicious look at classic Right Bank Bordeaux.

Tastes like: Plum, mushrooms, violets, bay leaf.

How to drink: Decant for 30 minutes, and enjoy with burgers, braised meats, or hearty pastas.
