Domaine Bruno Clair, 'Bonnes-Mares' Grand Cru 2017

On the Rodeo Drive of wine vineyards, Bonnes-Mares has a prime corner space with a very discerning doorman. This Burgundy Grand Cru produces some of the best pinot noir in the world. While Bonnes-Mares is mostly located in Chambolle-Musigny, there’s a small sliver in Morey-Saint-Denis, which is entirely owned by the legendary Bruno Clair. He farms the vineyard organically, producing this powerful, earthy pinot noir that tastes like ripe dark fruits and holiday spices. You’ll enjoy drinking it now, but it’s also a collector’s wine that can age for another 20 years in the cellar.

Tastes like: Raspberry, black currant, mushrooms, vanilla, leather.

How to drink: Decant for two hours. Enjoy with duck, cassoulet, and roast chicken with morels.
