Domaine des Ardoisières, Vin des Allobroges Rouge 'Silice' 2024 (Pre-Sale Arriving Early March)

In the shadows of the French Alps, Savoie is a cold region home to a collection of singular wines. At the top of the quality hierarchy is Domaine des Ardoisières, which has been run by Champagne-native Brice Ormont for the past 20 years. Brice biodynamically farms obscure local grape varieties to make a range of vibrant wines. This red - from a grape called mondeuse - is light and tangy, like an alpine cousin of Beaujolais.
