Domaine Génot-Boulanger, Beaune Premier Cru 'Les Grèves' 2017

$85 $100

Génot-Boulanger boasts one of the most impressive collections of vineyards in all of Burgundy.  A family-owned operation currently led by brothers Guillaume and Aude Lavollée, the domaine makes around 30 wines from different parts of Burgundy. This savory red comes from Les Grèves, a vineyard that yields the most structured, serious wines in Beaune. It’s earthy and deeply fruited, and as is common with Red Burgundy from the fantastic 2017 vintage, it’s elegant and balanced.

Tastes like: Wild raspberry, roses, violet, mushroom.

How to drink: Enjoy with mushroom agnolotti, roast duck, or herb-roasted chicken
