J.L. Chave Sélection, Saint Joseph 'Offerus' 2023

Jean-Louis Chave runs his family’s winery, Domaine Jean-Louis Chave, which has been making wine with the same grapes since 1481. Their wines are the pinnacle of syrah, the savory and floral red wine from the Rhône Valley. This is from vineyards nestled in the forest of the hilly region Saint- Joseph. It’s a red that can both age for a decade or be enjoyed now.

Tastes like: Lavender, black pepper, and olives.

How to drink: Let it breathe for one hour. Best with lamb and steak.
