López de Heredia, Crianza Rioja 'Cubillo' 2017

López de Heredia is the most important producer in Rioja, if not all of Spain. The old-school, family-run estate makes tempranillo-based red wines that are savory, spice-laden, and exceptionally age-worthy. The ‘Cubillo’ is aged for 5+ years prior to release, and offers a clear window into the López style.

Tastes like: Plum, nutmeg, tobacco leaf, vanilla.
