Pierre Girardin, Chassagne-Montrachet 'Clos Reland' 2023 (Pre-Sale Arriving 1/6)

While it’s now wild to think that Pierre Girardin's first vintage was 2017 (Pierre was 21 years old at the time), his stardom didn’t come out of left field. Pierre is the son of the legendary Vincent Girardin, and represents the family’s 13th generation to make wine. Vincent sold most of his vines when he retired in 2011, but he saved the best plots for Pierre.

Pierre crafts White Burgundy that’s smoky, tense, and vibrant. This is his inaugural release of Clos Reland, a plot located just below Champs Gains in Chassagne-Montrachet.
