Stein, Riesling Kabinett Trocken Alfer Hölle '1900' 2024

From the second oldest riesling vineyard in the world, this is Stein’s most sought-after wine. The vineyard is sandwiched between two residential houses, and was abandoned until Ulli began farming it in 2011. Ulli farms the tiny plot of ungrafted vines, which were planted in the year 1900, like a Bonsai tree. The resulting wine is intensely aromatic and exotically dense, with bright acidity and fresh herbal notes keeping it focused.
