A visionary who has left his stamp on projects across the country, Pérez is based in the area of Bierzo in Galicia. There on remote, high-altitude plots inland from the Atlantic, he has opened the world’s eyes to the potential of the mencia grape. This peppery, bright, easy-drinking red is a good introduction to both mencia and the Perez style.
