Mounir Saouma is the winemaker at Lucien Le Moine in Burgundy. He applies the same Burgundian sensibilties here in the Southern Rhone. Meticulous farming and extensive aging prior to bottling yield a bright, lifted expression of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. This blend of grenache, syrah, and mourvedre is juicy and full, but with more freshness and savory notes than you typically get from Chateauneuf.
