Thibaud Boudignon, Anjou Blanc 'A Francois(e)...' 2022 Magnum

Thibaud Boudignon makes some of our favorite chenin blanc in the Loire, or for that matter, anywhere else. The Bordeaux-born, Burgundy-trained winemaker set out on his own in 2009, and has since become one of the region’s unquestioned stars. His salty, fine-tuned chenin brings to mind another biodynamic icon in Anjou, Stéphane Bernaudeau. This chenin, named for Thibaud’s mother, is only made in select vintages. It’s a particularly precise, concentrated wine from his best parcels in Anjou.
