Viñedos del Jorco, Cebreros 'Las Cabañuelas' 2021

Raúl Pérez is arguably the greatest winemaker in Spain. He makes this red wine from garnacha (grenache) in the mountains west of Madrid. While a lot of Spanish garnacha can be heavy and uninteresting, this is light and aromatic. It’s reminiscent of Red Burgundy, but with a savory, herbal character that reflects its rugged, high-altitude growing site.

Tastes like: Raspberry, roses, thyme, black pepper.
How to drink: Lightly chilled with cheese and charcuterie or skirt steak.
