You know how certain TV shows have infinite “rewatch-ability,” and some songs never get old? Claud is the restaurant version of that. While the extreme scarcity of reservations has prevented us from testing this out, we bet we could go to this East Village European spot every other night without getting tired of it. The seasonal dishes - including some of the best roast chicken and the absolute best shrimp in NYC - from a Momofuku Ko alum are all shareable and absolutely delicious. The space is ideal for 2nd or 102nd dates, and the casual bar seating works for snacks after work. And then there’s the wine. Chase Sinzer has curated a selection of both benchmark and in-the-know producers, primarily from France. Here are a few of our favorites.
