Belluard is the Savoie’s greatest producer, and its calling card is mastery of a local grape called gringet, which they farm on steep, low-yielding vineyards in the shadow of the French Alps. The resulting white wine is herbaceous and crisp – like the lovechild of Chablis and fancy dry vermouth.
Tastes like: Pear, chamomile, salt, lemon zest.
How to Drink: Fresh from the fridge alongside fondue, grilled veggies, or oysters.
