Bernard Levet is one of the most iconic producers in the Northern Rhone. His wines are powerful, age-worthy, and unmistakably Côte-Rôtie. While this is the most immediately accessible bottle in Levet’s range, it's made in the same traditionalist style as their single-vineyard wines. So, expect a deeply savory syrah with plenty of roasted, smoky, meaty notes. Accordingly, this is the perfect red for summertime grilling.
Tastes like: Wild blackberries, violets, grilled meat, olives.
How to drink: Decant for an hour or more, and enjoy with burgers or BBQ ribs.
