Bodega Chacra, 'Mainqué' Chardonnay Patagonia Argentina 2019

$49
Chacra is a project from Italian winemaker Piero Incisa in a remote part of Patagonia, Argentina. Piero is best friends with French winemaker Jean Marc Roulot. Together, they make chardonnay from Piero's vineyards during the off-season of Burgundy's harvest thanks to the Southern Hemisphere's opposite climate. Think of it like this: Two buddies—who happen to be some of the best winemakers in the world—having a good time on vacation. That tastes good.
