Parcelle Wine Bar: 135 Division Street, NYC | Click here to make a reservation
Riffing on Italian tradition doesn't always end well: That's how ketchup ends up on pasta. But this wine, made by the producer Buona Notte in Oregon's Hood River Valley, is an exception. It's a fresh take on sangiovese with bright flavors of cherries, plums, and roses. It's lighter and more gulpable than traditional Tuscan wine, though still savory. Drink plenty of it alongside anything from light curries to al pastor tacos, and of course pizza.
