Cerbaiona, one of the greatest estates in Tuscany, is tiny but mighty. The wines are a top-tier example of traditional Brunello, and very small production makes them highly sought after. Winemaker Diego Molinari strikes a perfect balance between the warm ripeness common in the region’s south and the structure associated with the north.
Cerbaiona’s Brunello is one of the great wines in all of Italy. The small, organic vineyard is located at a midpoint in Montalcino, which allows Cerbaiona to strike a balance between the warmth of the south and brightness of the north. Both of these vintages showcase the freshness and complexity that are the hallmarks of this wine. 2013 carries the distinction of being the last vintage made by Cerbaiona founder, Diego Molinari.
