Chartogne-Taillet has arguably the highest quality-to-price ratio in Champagne. Run by the talented Alexandre Chartogne, who spent years working with Anselm Selosse, this grower producer is best-known for its range of single-vineyard bottlings. We just received our yearly allotment.
This is rich, toasty Champagne is made from a blend of chardonnay (90%) and meunier, which are grown organically on a single vineyard in the village of Saint Thierry.
