Domaine des Comtes Lafon, also known as simply Lafon, should never be left off the short list of the world’s greatest wineries. They are largely known for being a benchmark for the greatest white wines in the world - Burgundy. Today, the winery is run by the charismatic Dominque Lafon who has taken his skill and name to other parts of the world too. Their style of white wine is what most all producers young and old try to emulate. Wines that are rich but remain refreshing and nuanced. Their vineyard holdings are likely priceless.
