Henri Gouges is an icon as woven into the fabric of Burgundy as Georges Roumier, Rene Engel, and the Marquis d’Angerville. While the domaine is most famous for its age-worthy reds, it’s also renowned for discovering and then proliferating pinot blanc in Nuits-Saint-Georges. That’s the source of this white wine, which is rich, layered, and complex.
Tastes like: Pear, brioche, orange blossom, butterscotch.
How to Drink: Chilled with rich seafood dishes or pâté and cheese.
