Gaja, Barolo 'Gromis Conteisa Cerequio' Barolo 1990

$375
Along with luxury cars and Andrea Bocelli solos, few Italian exports have hit the US market with as much force as Gaja. That’s thanks to five generations of meticulous winemaking, including the stewardship of Angelo Gaja, a legendary figure who ushered Piedmontese wine into the modern age. Now run by his daughter, aptly named Gaia Gaja, the estate continues to set the standard for Barbaresco. While their nebbiolo is world class, Gaja sets itself apart with its chardonnay, which is as savory and age-worthy as great Burgundy.

*Opening old wine can be tricky. Many corks are fragile, and if you’re not careful, can break. Just because a cork crumbles doesn't mean the wine’s off. If you're new to buying old wine or curious about the condition, just reach out.

Please note: we aren’t able to take returns of any corked or damaged bottles.
