The Fornerot family has roots in Saint-Aubin that go back more than five centuries. Their most recent imprint on this southerly part of Burgundy is owed to Jérome Fornerot, who launched his own domaine in the early ‘00s. His wines don’t carry the names of Burgundy’s most famous villages, but they do offer fantastic value for the price.
Saint-Aubin borders both Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet, and offers similar structure and concentration at a fraction of the price.
