Peay, 'Savoy Vineyard' Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2017

$65

From Beach Boys songs, to every friend who has driven down the PCH, you’re probably well aware that California has nice beaches. What you might not know, though, is that the water tends to be pretty damn cold. That’s especially true up north in places like Mendocino, where this wine is from. The grapes grow three miles from the Pacific, with ocean air and fog making it one of the coldest growing climates in California. As a result, these organic, small-production wines (only 300 cases) are light, fresh, and easy-drinking.

Tastes like: Red cherry, blackberry, cinnamon, and potting soil.

How to drink: Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes, and share it with someone who likes Cru Beaujolais.

Flavors

Juicy Light Floral
