Pierre Boisson doesn’t make a lot of wine. So even with a 200-year family track record in Meursault - previously Domaine Boisson-Vadot - he lacks the name recognition of the region’s icons. As a result, his wines represent some of the best values in White Burgundy. That’s especially true of this rich and ripe, yet fresh and mineral-driven bottling from the Maconnais.
Tastes like: Grapefruit, acacia, smoke.
How to drink: Not too cold with herb-roasted chicken or pan-seared scallops.
