Poderi Colla, Barolo 'Bussia' 2018
At Prunotto in the early ‘60s, Beppe Colla took the pioneering step of bottling wines from individual vineyards in Barolo, most notably ‘Bussia.’ It was a move responsible for Prunotto - and Barolo in general - gaining recognition as one of Italy’s greatest wines. 60 years later, ‘Bussia’ is also the cornerstone bottling of the Colla family’s winery, Poderi Colla. This classic Barolo is powerful and savory, though 2018 yielded a softer wine that can be enjoyed now.
