Rizzi is best known for Barbaresco, which it makes from some of the best vineyards in the region. It produces this nebbiolo from younger vines on some of those same plots, and classifies the wine more generally as Langhe. It showcases nebbiolo’s classic savory and floral notes, but it’s fruity and smooth enough to enjoy young.

Tastes like: Red cherry, roses, mushroom, chocolate.
How to drink: This is a perfect pizza wine, but it’d also be delicious alongside cheesy risotto.
