Serafino Rivella, 'Montestefano' Barbaresco 2004

Teobaldo and Maria Rivella are the Italian grandparents that we all wish we had. Their level of affection is not overbearing, they drink tons of great wine, and if your plans for early retirement include living on one of Italy’s best vineyards, you have that coming down the pipeline too. This couple has become a favorite among collectors of Barolo and Barbaresco (as well as amongst the top-tier winemakers across all of Italy). Their style is classic, elegant, and age-worthy. We’ve been lucky to drink a lot of it, both young and old, and it’s all as good as it gets.

*Opening old wine can be tricky. Many corks are fragile, and if you’re not careful, can break. Just because a cork crumbles doesn't mean the wine’s off. If you're new to buying old wine or curious about the condition, just reach out.

Please note: we aren’t able to take returns of any corked or damaged bottles.
