Taken from Granite, 'Village Renaissance Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon 1997

This soulful Cabernet is grown in a remote part of California named the Yuba County. If Napa Valley is Manhattan, the Yuba County is Hudson: a little more hippie and rural, and a lot more bang for your buck. 1997 is a great, powerfully ripe vintage for California– wines from Yuba like this one are a little more subtle and savory, while still rich with fruit.

*Opening old wine can be tricky. Many corks are fragile, and if you’re not careful, can break. Just because a cork crumbles doesn't mean the wine’s off. If you're new to buying old wine or curious about the condition, just reach out.

Please note: we aren’t able to take returns of any corked or damaged bottles.
